There is a large number of National Guardsman in the Clarendon, Vermont area. As a tribute to these fine soldiers, songwriters Michael Mugrage and James Mee, asked Christina to record this moving and special song. They then arranged to meet with students from the Clarendon, Vermont grammar school to record them singing 'Box of Kisses' along with her.

What is most moving is that many of the children singing with Christina, have fathers, mothers, aunts, uncles, sisters and brothers serving in Iraq or Afganistan.
